What can
I do ?
Vote
The most powerful action you can take is at the ballot box. Real changes at the scale and pace we need are made by governments: federal, state and local.
Connect
The second most powerful action you can take is having conversations with your networks: family, friends, classmates, team mates, colleagues. The most resilient society is a connected one. To host a climate conversation head over to the resources page and find Climate For Change.
Inform
In a crisis, we need information from a trusted source. Studies have shown that most people get their understanding of climate change from the media but this can be subject to editorial bias.
By subscribing to an independant source, such as The Climate Council or The Conversation/Environment (we’re not affiliated) you’ll get news direct from the experts.
Are you unsure if the climate crisis is real? Head over to the resources page to learn more.
Adapt
Join the movement to electrify your home. Learn more at Rewiring Australia and, if you live in or around the 2515 postcode, sign up to Electrify 2515.
Reduce plastic waste by shopping mindfully. Shop at the Thirroul Flametree Community Co-op for seasonal, organic, bulk items with low-emissions packaging options.
Switch over your electricity provider to a Green energy producer. You don’t have to install anything. One phone call will do it.

“The climate emergency is a race we are losing,
but it is a race we can win.”
-UN Secretary General António Guterres
